Three assaulted in Bristol park attacks
Three separate assaults have been reported in one Bristol park in the last week, says Avon and Somerset Police.
On November 30, a man in his forties was attacked by two unknown men in Castle Park at around 1.15am.
The victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life changing, but he remains in hospital with “serious” injuries to his wrist, back, shoulder and head.
Just days later, two further assaults were reported in the park.
Two separate men, one in his forties and one in his twenties, reported attacks between 12.30am and 1am on Wednesday.
Police believe that neither man required medical treatment for their injuries.

Avon and Somerset Police say that two males, one Black and one white who both wore balaclavas, are the suspects of all three reported assaults.
However, they say that descriptions are limited due to the time of night, and are asking any witnesses to get in touch.
Neighbourhood policing chief inspector Keith Smith said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and we remain open-minded about the motive behind these attacks.
“We understand matters of this nature can be incredibly distressing to the local community, and for this reason, we have further increased our patrols of Castle Park particularly in the area these attacks have taken place.
“These high-visibility patrols will include resources from our mounted, patrol, neighbourhood and other specialist units.
“We are engaging with our community groups and leaders and continue to update them and the victims of these assaults as our enquiries progress.”
Anyone with information is asked to get in touch via 101, referencing number 5225336054.
