Scandinavian fashion brand opens shop in Bristol
Swedish denim brand Nudie Jeans promises to bring its sustainable designs to Bristol, with a new store opening on Park Street this autumn.
The Park Street store marks the brand’s first outlet in the South West, expanding its UK footprint following openings in London and Manchester.
Nudie Jeans joins a vibrant mix of retailers and independent shops along the historic street.
Founded in Gothenburg in 2001, Nudie Jeans is known for its ethical approach to fashion, using 100 per cent organic cotton, fair production methods and a commitment to circular design.
The brand’s repair shops offer free lifetime repairs, as well as trade-in and reuse schemes that keep denim in circulation for longer.
The Bristol store of Nudie Jeans occupies the ground floor of 71 Park Street, which nestles with Charlotte Street.
The space was previously home to a T.M. Lewin branch, which closed in 2020.

The building has since been redeveloped into high-end student accommodation by Urban Student, consisting of 17 apartments.
During the redevelopment, the block regained its original height, which had been lost during the Bristol Blitz, when the upper floors were destroyed and never rebuilt.
The Bristol store is expected to follow the blueprint of Nudie Jeans stores, creating a community-focused space for events, creative workshops and local collaborations.

Speaking to Bristol24/7, Gareth Cullen, regional general manager for UK, Ireland and France at Nudie Jeans, said: “I am very excited to plant the Nudie Jeans flag in a city that reflects our values and ethos.”
The store is expected to open in early December.
