Hundreds of customers queue as Sephora opens first Bristol shop
Sephora has travelled from the Champs-Élysées in Paris to Cabot Circus, where the “world’s number one prestige beauty retailer” has opened its first shop in the South West.
Hundreds of customers queued for hours ahead of the ribbon cutting ceremony on Concorde Street on Thursday afternoon.
Comedian Dani Johns entertained people in person and social media influencer Nat Brereton hosted a live stream for anyone watching the proceedings online.
Those in the queue were given a variety of free gifts including cakes baked by Drizzle on Christmas Steps and small bouquets of flowers made by Roots on Broad Quay.
For the uninitiated, Sephora sells beauty products from dozens of different retailers as well as stocking their own range including makeup, skincare, haircare and bath sets.
A press release says that Sephora “is more than just a place to shop – it’s about helping everyone look and feel their best”.
