Leading beauty brand opens second UK outlet in Bristol
The luxury beauty retailer LOOKFANTASTIC has opened its second UK retail outlet in Bristol on Friday.
Even before the ribbon was cut at the new shop in Cabot Circus shortly before 10am, long queues had formed outside, with some customers arriving as early as 7.30am.
The Altrincham-founded company, whose roots are firmly in the north of England, chose Bristol for only its second physical outlet.
According to the team, the decision was a “natural fit”, with Bristol already home to one of the largest concentrations of online customers, alongside a large student population and “reputation as a creative, community-driven city”.

Inside, the shop was a hive of activity.
Speaking to Bristol24/7, Billie Faricy-Hyett, chief buying officer at LOOKFANTASTIC, said the brand’s biggest competition is itself, constantly striving to improve service, product excellence and pricing.
“We’re really known as the home of beauty, with brands and product ranges that you won’t find elsewhere,” she said.

“But what truly makes us unique is our Beauty Box proposition, which is where we’re standing now. This brings our online Beauty Box offer into a physical store experience.
“It’s designed to be fun and social. As you can see, we wanted to create something experiential, so shopping isn’t just transactional — it’s interactive and enjoyable.
“Here, customers can pick up one of our Beauty Boxes and select six products from the display. These are some of the best products on the market — genuine, premium items, not lower-grade versions — giving customers the chance to discover and try high-quality beauty in a really engaging way.”

The shop offers curated selections across skincare, haircare, fragrance and cosmetics from leading brands
The team has brought its online retail experience into a 3,000 sq ft experiential concept space at Cabot Circus, in the unit previously occupied by Foyles bookshop before its closure in 2025.
The store prioritises discovery and participation, offering curated selections across skincare, haircare, fragrance and cosmetics from leading brands including Tom Ford, YSL, Armani, Medik8 and Sol de Janeiro.
A key feature is the rotating Beauty Box concept, allowing customers to mix and match six products for £15, with regularly refreshed selections designed to encourage repeat visits.
The outlet also includes a dedicated skin service room for specialist treatments, alongside flexible space for pop-ups and brand activations.

Billie added: “What we love to offer our customers is a real route to discovery. We want to introduce them to products they may have wanted to try but haven’t had the chance to. Here, they can test those products, fall in love with them and then, of course, go on to buy them.
“Online will always be at the heart of our business — we are a digital-first brand and that will remain the case. But we wanted to bring a more experiential element to some of our key locations and customers, and Bristol was the perfect place to do that.”

LOOKFANTASTIC joins a cluster of leading high-street brand names including H&M, Zara, Damaged Society, Harvey Nichols, Next and Uniqlo, which is expected to open in spring 2026.
