Latin Market returns for fourth year
Bristol’s Latin Market is set to return for another year following the success of previous editions.
The event will return to its new home at Broadmead for the second year running on April 12.
The market, which was launched on the grounds of St Paul’s Learning Centre in 2022, has grown in size and offerings, attracting more visitors due to its proximity to the city centre.
The upcoming edition promises an even more energetic and immersive experience for visitors.

Visitors can expect a wide variety of authentic dishes from across the region, whether it is Colombian arepas and Peruvian ceviche or Venezuelan empanadas
Running from 11am to 4pm, the market will take place on the second Sunday of each month from April through to October, with the exception of June, when it will instead be held on the first Saturday.
Organised by Latin American Community Support, the event showcases the richness and diversity of Latin America through its food, music and creative talent.
Taking place outside The Galleries, the Latin Market is part of the Better Sundays initiative by the Bristol BID.

Visitors can expect a wide variety of authentic dishes from across the region, whether it is Colombian arepas and Peruvian ceviche or Venezuelan empanadas alongside handmade arts and crafts created by local Latin American traders.
Live performances and a DJ set will provide festive soundtracks throughout the day, creating a space where people are encouraged to dance, connect and celebrate together.

The market will bring not just the flavours, but also the sights and sounds of Latin America to Broadmead
Designed as a family-friendly event, the Latin Market invites people of all backgrounds to come together and experience something different.
Whether sampling traditional flavours, discovering unique crafts or simply enjoying the atmosphere, visitors are promised a day that feels like a short escape from everyday life.
Gisela de Bernardo, representative of Latin American Community Support, said: “For those looking to feel like they’re on holiday – if only for a few hours – the Latin Market is the place to be.
“It’s more than just a market, but a lively cultural experience.”
