Bristol musician to play Royal Albert Hall at Home live session

By martin booth, Tuesday May 5, 2020

Kate Stables, better known as This Is the Kit, is playing her biggest headline show to date in April 2021 at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

If that’s too long to wait, you can catch the Bristol musician playing a set live from her own house on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm as part of the Royal Albert Home sessions.

Like venues across the world, the Royal Albert Hall remains closed but they are now opening a virtual window for fans who want to experience live music.

The venue programmers describes Stables “as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary folk and critically lauded for her rich vocals and instrumentals combining arrangements of banjo with gentle percussion, brass and guitar to form dreamy psychedelic melodies”.
