Ant-Man and the Wasp
It's insecty superhero overload in this Honey, I Shrunk the Superheroes Marvel bug flick
Ant-Man and the Wasp (in 2D and 3D, naturally) is the latest screen-gobbling blockbuster to head our way. Nippers requiring fresh animated entertainment are catered for with Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, whose exclamation mark is almost as irritating as Mission: Impossible‘s colon.
If you’re after something a little different, there’s plenty of good stuff tucked away in the margins, including classy family animation The Big Bad Wolf and Other Stories and the Pan’s Labyrinth-esque Sicilian Ghost Story.
The Watershed’s lengthy Agnès Varda retrospective gets into its stride this week too. Other attractions include a free outdoor screening of Rio, a late night Reservoir Dogs outing and a 50th anniversary reissue of that great Mel Brooks comedy The Producers.
