‘Renowned’ digital agency opens new office in Bristol

By Charlie Watts  Monday Aug 23, 2021

A “renowned” digital agency has chosen to open its first English office in Bristol.

mtc, which offers a “completely rounded” web design and development service, has opened its new base in One Temple Quay.

The company was formed in 1999 and its head office is in Dundee  – but this is its first leap into England.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

It says the Bristol move will see investment in the local community and economy, creating new job and mentoring opportunities.

Euan Johnstone, mtc’s creative director, says that the company is “incredibly excited” to be setting up a new office in Bristol.

He said: “The talent pool in Bristol is second to none. We’ve assembled a fantastic group in the area and can’t wait to start partnering with businesses.

“We’ll be delivering the same great mix of creativity, technology and online business know-how that has allowed us to partner and grow with some many great companies over the last 16 years.”

Anthony Brennan, mtc’s business development director, adds that Bristol offers everything they need to continually grow their business.

He explained: “In a world that has changed dramatically over the past 18 months, we have worked tirelessly with our clients, to ensure they continue to grow.

“We’ve continued to push digital boundaries for clients old and new ensuring they can lean on our expertise to navigate the ever-changing digital landscape.”

mtc’s clients range from start-ups to global players, and it’s built websites for the likes of B&M, sports brand Umbro and Macdonald Hotels.

Joseph Lawson-West, Bristol’s business development lead for mtc, believes the city is the perfect fit for the company.

He added: “Having worked in the creative sector of Bristol for over a decade I’ve seen first-hand the incredible number of Bristol start-ups intent on disrupting markets.

“We’d love to build partnerships with those businesses to grow both their online revenue and capabilities for years to come.”
