Xero and Making Tax Digital masterclass for small business owners
With the first quarterly Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions fast approaching, a new Bristol workshop is set to help sole traders, freelancers and small business owners get to grips with one of the biggest changes to self-assessment reporting in years.
Taking place at the Aztec Hotel & Spa on June 18, the practical session hosted by Streets has been designed to help business owners understand HMRC’s new requirements, build confidence using Xero and develop bookkeeping habits that make quarterly reporting easier and less stressful.
Since MTD was introduced in April, many self-employed professionals have found the transition to digital record-keeping challenging.
Rather than a traditional tax seminar, the workshop will offer hands-on guidance, live Xero demonstrations, bookkeeping tips, time-saving automations and opportunities to ask questions.

Aimed at sole traders, start-ups and small businesses, the event will focus on helping attendees stay compliant, avoid common bookkeeping mistakes and potentially reduce accountancy costs by taking greater control of their financial records.
The workshop runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the Aztec Hotel & Spa in Bristol. The line up includes Ben Steele, founder of Streets Steele and ViFi along with Harry Fuge, head of client relationships at ViFi.
