Urban Creation teams up with Bristol Sport for Break The Cycle 2024 charity bike ride

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday Feb 13, 2024

Urban Creation is excited to announce its collaboration with Bristol Sport for the upcoming 2024 Break The Cycle charity bike ride, marking the 14th consecutive year of the annual event. The ride is scheduled to take place on Sunday June 30.

Founder Jonathan Brecknell, a passionate cyclist who has conquered the gold route twice, leads Urban Creation’s enthusiastic involvement in this meaningful event. Break The Cycle, organized by the Bristol Sport Foundation, has established itself as a prominent fixture in the charity calendar, consistently garnering support and enthusiasm over the years. The event is dedicated to raising crucial funds for charities engaged in life-changing work.

This year’s ride will traverse the scenic Mendips with three thoughtfully designed routes by olympian Oli Beckingsale. The routes, catering to cyclists of all skill levels, include the Bronze (42 miles), Silver (66 miles), and Gold (100 miles) options. Participants can choose a challenge that aligns with their abilities, making it an inclusive experience for both newcomers and seasoned pros.

To kick off this partnership, all partners gathered at Ashton Gate Stadium on February 9 to witness the Bristol Bears vs Crusaders match, fostering connections among supporters with a shared commitment to making a positive impact through charitable initiatives.

Urban Creation and Bristol Sport invite everyone to pedal for a purpose and contribute to the success of Break The Cycle 2024.
