Locals Oooh Arrr Productions present their new adaptation of Hansel and Gretel, promising a dark script combined with light-hearted family humour.

“Hansel and Gretel’s lives change drastically when their father remarries. Having always been poor, their new mother realises that the best way to save pennies is to abandon them in the forest.

“Left to their own devices, Hansel and Gretel get into a world of mischief and eventually find their way to an inviting gingerbread house. Is the old woman who lives there as nice as she seems? What will happen to the siblings? And will they ever find their way back home?
