Venue: Windmill Hill City Farm
Artists
The Handlebards

The world’s first cycling theatre company, The HandleBards kick off with Bristol Shakespeare Festival 2018 with this all-female Romeo & Juliet (NB their all-male Twelfth Night follows at the same venue).

“With songs that’ll stick in your head and plenty of belly-aching laughter, join The HandleBards for their riotous all-female production of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy, in their seriously silly style.”

The HandleBards are four-actor troupes who carry with them on their bikes all of the necessary set, props and costume to perform extremely energetic, charmingly chaotic and environmentally sustainable Shakespeare plays across the globe.
