Ridley Scott‘s original Alien flick from 1979 makes a welcome return to the big screen to re-acquaint us with Sigourney Weaver‘s Ripley – one of cinema’s greatest heroines – and HR Giger‘s drooling xenomorph – one of cinema’s greatest monsters. Watch it again and pretend that everything after Aliens never happened.
