The winner of five Oscars (including Best Picture) back in 1966, Robert Wise‘s screen version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway musical remains one of the highest grossing films of all time when its taking are adjusted for inflation.
Now it’s back on screen in restored 4K format to rake in even more cash and provide audiences with another opportunity to warble along with the title song, plus Edelweiss, My Favourite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain, Do-Re-Mi, Sixteen Going on Seventeen, etc., etc.
