A soul-searching feature film highlighting the challenges facing undocumented asylum seekers in Europe. It tells the story of Abbas, a college professor and widowed father of two, who gains sympathy and comfort in France from Carol but endures a two year battle with cold, impersonal bureaucracy as he waits for the immigration system to decide on his and children’s future.

This Afrika Eye screening will be followed by a panel discussion.
