Record label boss, promoter, “facilitator of all things unlikely” and chum of Julian Cope, Paul Horlick – aka Fat Paul – has been a stalwart of the Bristol music scene for as long as anyone can remember. Now local filmmaker Katy Bauer has made a 40-minute documentary about His Veteran Tubness, which gets its premiere tonight. You can also expect live sets by Post, lauching their Snow album, and Don Mandarin, who, it says here, “exemplifies an open form of poetic modulation that creates a vibration of melodic spirituality”. Head over to our Music section for more informed commentary on these acts.
