Calais Children: A Case to Answer

Director
Sue Clayton
Certificate
No Cert
Running Time
62 mins

First local screening of Sue Clayton‘s documentary about the aftermath of the razing of the Calais ‘jungle’ back in 2016. Some 1900 unaccompanied children were present in the refugee camp, many of whom had a legal case to enter the UK. But after delays, denials and dismissals from the UK Home Office, they were abandoned in France with no support at all. 20% of the profits from the Cube’s screening will go to the continued support of the children featured in the film. The remaining 80% will go to funding Refugee Kids Welcome Cinemas. For more on how you can donate, visit their Just Giving page.
