Best known for its scene in which he tries to put his drunken wife to bed, Old Stoneface’s final silent film was originally intended to be a talkie. This Slapstick Festival’s screening is part of its celebration of the centenary of Keaton’s screen debut. It’ll be accompanied live by Guenter A. Buchwald, Frank Bockius and Romano Todesco – collectively The European Silent Screen Virtuosi.
