It sounded like somebody’s porn star name, but wooden old Keanu Reeves‘ attempt to grab a slice of the old-school action hero, er, action proved to be hugely successful back in 2015, launching an ongoing franchise. He plays the eponymous, pooch-loving retired hitman who returns to kinetic baddassery on a vengeance mission. Fascinating fact: first-time director Chad Stahelski was Keanu’s stunt double in the Matrix flicks.
