Headliner this weekend is the Canadian émigré comic John Hastings, who has appeared on Radio 4 and on Russell Howard’s Good News since arriving on our shores in 2012. In the proud recent tradition of Anglophile Canadian stand-ups (see also Glenn Wool, Craig Campbell, Stewart Francis and many more), Hastings is a great comic with an articulate, slightly camp manner and some very sharp observations.
