First outing for Storytale, a new children’s literature festival coinciding with half term, which aims to “bring books, storytelling, and poetry to children across the city.”

The nine day festival features events aimed at all children, “from tots to teens”, including workshops, readings and performances. Writers and illustrators appearing include Mimi Thebo, Kate Frost, Bob Baker, Damaris Young, Elika Ansari, Tracy Darnton, Gabriel Dylan, Paula Bowles and Andy Council.
