Graduation show for students on the
Foundation Degree (FdA) in Professional Photography at City of Bristol College.
“This show presents the culmination of the photography students’ two years of study and hard work before progression to Plymouth University, UWE Bristol or freelance photographic practice.
“The work on show ranges from refined, sophisticated, studio shooting to abstract monochrome architectural forms, engaged street portraits and urban storytelling, exploring the lives and experiences of the under-represented.
“The course draws upon Bristol’s photographic culture, publishing professionals and industry mentors in addition to offering academic support and challenges.
“Each year, the feel is radically different from the last: this year, portraits have featured strongly in the students’ work. The confidence of the students has increased hugely over the time they have been with us, due in part to the fantastic experiences that our professional partners offer them.”
Works for sale, students present: all welcome.
