My Bristol Favourites: Lois Sterling
Known online as Lois La Mode, 27-year-old Lois Sterling is a recruitment consultant by day and an Instagram influencer by night. Lois was born in London, grew up in Gloucester and now lives in Old Market.
Along with two fellow Bristol-based Instagrammers, katiejanekonstanz and Rachel Emily, Lois has founded Influencer Collective, whose first event takes place at Gold Bar on September 19 promising “an opportunity to connect influencers and brands in an Instagrammable setting”.

Wapping Wharf

“There are just so many different places at Wapping Wharf and it’s so picturesque, with the lighting amazing for pictures. It’s very quirky and very ‘Bristol’.”
The Florist

“The Florist on Park Street is also very picturesque. There are so many different rooms and the toilets are really nice as well. The food is really nice, the staff are really nice and the cocktails are amazing. I go there so often that the staff recognise me now.”
Bird & Blend

“The teas that they sell at Bird & Blend, also on Park Street, are so different, so completely original but also completely natural. They are so good for you. I also go here so often and the staff are really nice.”
The Lido

Everyman Cinema

“The Everyman Cinema on Whiteladies Road is just so cosy. When it snowed earlier this year, we walked up. It was absolutely freezing cold. We got there and just wrapped ourselves in blankets.”
