Shoes collected for Bristol’s homeless

By Bristol24/7  Tuesday Aug 2, 2016

But rather than leave it at that, pairs of shoes were then placed on the 197 hearts for homeless people in need of footwear.

The Soles 4 Souls initiative from Keep Bristol Warm aimed to symbolise solidarity, as well as being an accessible source of comfort for people finding themselves in need.

People were encouraged to place socks inside the shoes, and there was also a box for any surplus donations that were given to shelters such as the Julian Trust and One25.
