In photos: The EatDrink24/7 guide launch party

By Molly Pipe  Thursday Jul 9, 2026

After months of build-up, excitement, food videos and menu teases, the EatDrink24/7 guide launch party kicked into gear on Wednesday night.

The event marked the launch of Bristol24/7’s 2026 food and drink guide, which showcases the independent hospitality venues on offer around the city.

A team of 84 panellists working in the industry sent in their recommendations for the best places to go for a meal or a pint in Bristol.

To celebrate the new guide, brilliantly pulled together by our Reporter Karen Johnson, we hosted a sold-out event at Wiper and True Brewery & Taproom in Old Market.

The evening was alive with DJ sets and (maybe a bit too much) sunlight, with punters and panellists alike filling the courtyard to the brim.

Attendees were given a copy of the new EatDrink24/7 guide and offered a free beer in a limited-edition Bristol24/7 can.

Danny’s Burgers and Big Nath’s BBQ teamed up to create an al pastor burger, while Squeezed and Box-E created their own collaborative menu.

Don’t worry if you missed it: our new guides are now available for free around the city, and photographer Irene Haro was on hand to capture the action.
