In photos: Justice for Kwabena protest

Supporters gathered outside Bristol Crown Court in solidarity with Kwabena Devonish who is facing trial under anti-terrorism laws over a speech she gave at a Palestine solidarity demonstration in Cardiff in November 2023.

The Justice for Kwabena campaign says the case represents the “criminalisation of protest” and is calling for the charges to be dropped.

Devonish is charged with expressing an opinion or belief supportive of a proscribed organisation, namely Hamas, contrary to the Terrorism Act 2000. She has pleaded not guilty.
