Former private jet to become unique office and meetings space
A private jet that once travelled the world is due to make one final journey to Bristol.
The fuselage of the Boeing 727 will become a unique office and meetings space when it arrives at Brislington Trading Estate.
Due to the plane no longer having any wings, it will make the journey from Cotswold Airport to Brislington by road.
is needed now More than ever
The man behind the project is entrepreneur Johnny Palmer of Pytch, who now adds the private plane to a private island near Bath, Warleigh Weir, which he already owns.
“My company is growing really fast right now and we need more space,” says Palmer, who has commissioned acclaimed Bristol street artist Jody to paint many of the properties at the trading estate on Bonville Road.
“Rather than do environmentally harmful traditional construction, I wanted to express our care for the planet and appetite for commercial growth in a different way.
“It occurred to me that doing this with the repurposing of the ultimate in hyper consumption, a private jet airliner, was ideal!”
