A decision on Fifth Capital’s application to transform the derelict Carriageworks site on Stokes Croft into 118 flats and houses is being taken by city councillors next month.

Until then, the strength of feeling from many of the local community against the plans can be seen in new graffiti that covers the length of the building’s frontage.

#communityworks now takes up all of the ground and first floor windows, with ‘No to luxury flats – yes to affordable homes’ on Westmoreland House next door.
