Pizzeria closing ‘with a heavy heart and incredible sadness’
Another independent business has announced it is closing its doors in Bristol.
The team behind Geppettos in Easton has revealed the pizzeria is shutting down permanently due to rising costs across the hospitality industry.
They shared the news on social media “with a heavy heart and incredible sadness”.
The restaurant on High Street, formerly known as G Bros, reopened under new management after a refurbishment in May 2024.

“Unfortunately we can no longer keep up with the rising costs the hospitality industry is facing whilst continuing to serve the same quality food we have always provided,” they said.
“As such we have made the extremely difficult decision to close our doors for good.
“We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years and we hope you will come and support us one last time as we wind down.
Geppettos confirmed its final day of trading will be June 19.
