New gelato shop coming to College Green

Those of us with a sweet tooth are in for a treat when a new gelato and ice cream shop opens on College Green.

Swoon will be offering gelato, ice cream, coffee and cake to eat in and take away in a unit that was once two shops and most recently The Parlour Showrooms hosting everything from pop-up cinemas to festival hubs.

Swoon’s holding website offers such tantalising prospects of “sun-soaked Sicilian lemons… Mediterranean figs… pure delight… 120 years in the making… (and) Ligurian laughter”.

It follows a raft of dentist-bothering openings in Bristol including Sundaes Gelato on Baldwin Street, Coco’s Desserts on Stapleton Road, Kaspa’s Desserts on Park Street and Seeb on Gloucester Road.
