Modern Chinese fine dining restaurant opening soon

By Martin Booth  Tuesday Jan 13, 2026

A Chinese restaurant with branches in Cardiff city centre and in Spitalfields in east London is set to open soon in Bristol.

Fresh Feast is inspired by the culinary tradition of Linyi, a city in Shandong province.

“From crisp vegetables to tender meats, our ingredients are delivered fresh and prepared daily,” the restaurant’s website explains.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

“Stir-fried, steamed or simmered – every bite is packed with natural flavour, because we believe real food should be cooked fresh, not just fast.

“Fresh isn’t just in our name – it’s in everything we do.”

Fresh Feast is opening midway up Park Street in what was most recently Marquee bar and for many years had been the Elbow Room.

A well as serving noodles and dim sum, new signage reveals that Fresh Feast will also be a cocktail bar and offer karaoke.

Describing itself as “modern Chinese fine dining”, the restaurant’s owners promise to be “always exploring – traveling across China, discovering regional specialties, learning from local kitchens, and gathering inspiration one dish at a time”.

“Every journey brings us closer to the next flavour you’ll fall in love with.

“We’re committed to bringing you more: more authentic tastes, more modern twists and more fresh dishes inspired by the heart of Chinese cooking.

“Because great food is a journey and we’re just getting started.”
