Lanzhou beef noodles coming soon at new restaurant

Lanzhou beef noodles are coming soon to Park Street.

The signage above what will become the new restaurant promises “top hand-pulled noodles”.

The restaurant – with the sign in Chinese simply meaning Lanzhou Beef Noodles – will be opening in what was previously Pinkmans which suffered a serious fire in June 2023.

A New York Times article from 2025 said that Lanzhou beef noodle soup has gone “from regional specialty to global attraction”.

The Woks of Life describes the soup as “consisting of a flavorful, clear broth, shaved beef, tender Chinese radish slices, lots of cilantro and scallion, deep red chili oil, and chewy handmade noodles”.
