Coffee van the next stage of journey for Bristol barista

By Martin Booth  Monday Mar 17, 2025

After being in permanent locations in Old Market, Spike Island and the Paintworks, Alex Does Coffee is now fully mobile.

“New things are finally here,” says the eponymous Alex Campbell, who will now be able to serve coffee from a converted Suzuki Carry van.

It’s a welcome return for Alex who was last seen within the less than mobile Airstream caravans in the Paintworks currently occupied by Coffee Club.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

“It’s been a journey to say the least,” wrote Alex on Instagram as she unveiled her new ride.

“The best things come in small packages.

“This is my custom converted Suzuki Carry pick-up ~ now I can come to YOU ~ you lucky people.

“With the ability to serve up coffee completely off grid ~ I’m in L O V E”
