Blank Street to open first cafe in Bristol
An international chain of cafes founded as a coffee cart in the garden of a New York diner is set to open its first store in Bristol.
Blank Street say they “set out to reimagine what a coffee shop could be. Serving a clean, natural, and high quality menu to customers at an affordable price.”
The chain is particularly popular for its matcha drinks which are likely to be seen on an Instagram feed near you soon.
Blank Street has almost 40 cafes in London and others in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Their first cafe in Bristol is due to open in the former Fred Perry shop towards the top of Park Street, with seating for around 30 people.

In their planning application, Edinburgh-based Bradley Architecture, on behalf of Blank Street, said: “82 Park Street and Park Street more broadly feels like the kind of spot where historic charm and urban energy collide.
“The building itself is a Grade II Listed Georgian property with elegant stone facades and a classic shopfront that cements heritage and permanence.
“In essence, 82 Park Street embodies an ‘old meets young’ city vibe with heritage architecture exuding gravitas and changing vibrant urban street life with energy and spontaneity.”
