Preview: Optimus Comic Con

This April 9 and 10, Optimus Comic Con usher all things nerdy into Bristol’s UWE for the first time. 

Though the sign says “Comic Con,” the actual subject matter is much more wide-reaching. Stars from sci-fi TV shows, films and video games will sign autographs and participate in Q&A sessions alongside classic cult cars (think DeLoreans and Batmobiles), props and costumed fans. Sixty trade stands will sell collectables and other paraphernalia.

Expect to see video game voice actor Troy Baker, Andrew Lee Potts of Primeval, Storage Hunters’ Jesse McClure and TV voice actor Ashley Johnson.

Standard tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for children and £25 for a family of two adults and two children. Ten percent of ticket sales will go to St Peter’s Hospice.
