Summer Series sells 60% of tickets in 4 hours
Bristol Summer Series sold 60 per cent of tickets across all concerts in just four hours after going on sale on Friday morning.
Featuring 2016 BRIT Award winners James Bay and Catfish and the Bottlemen, Iceland’s Sigur Rós and Arctic Monkey’s Alex Turner side project The Last Shadow Puppets, tickets for this year sold 25 per cent faster than in 2015 on the first day.
Bob Angus, organiser of Bristol Summer Series, said: “The demand for these four great headline acts has been incredible and we are predicting that all concerts will be sold out in a matter of days.
“The setting of the harbourside is the perfect location for these summer sounds and June can’t come soon enough. If you haven’t got your tickets already, now is the time to grab the remaining few.”
The concert series takes place at the Lloyds Amphitheatre from June 22-25.
