Zack Polanski to headline Bristol Green Party party
Following events in Leeds and London, a Green Party party is being held in Bristol which promises “a day of love, joy, community and bangers”.
“It’s hopecore summer: it’s coming home, Starmer’s out and the Greens are just getting started,” say the organisers of the party which will be taking over Sawmills in St Jude’s.
Green Party leader Zack Polanski is top of the bill for the event on July 26, with acts including Anna Prank, Junction 17 and DJ Gurl Power.

Previous events from Green Space have raised more than £35,000 with this party promising to “support Bristol’s ambitions to win five Green MPs next election”.
It’s certainly an ambitious aim with there currently only being five Green MPs in the entirety of the UK.
Carla Denyer is Bristol’s solitary Green member of parliament, with a majority of 10,407 in Bristol Central; while the city’s four other parliamentary seats are all held by Labour MPs Kerry McCarthy, Karin Smyth, Darren Jones and Damien Egan.

The party at Sawmills is being promoted by Green Space and BOG Bristol, best known for their sets at Clock Factory.
Green Space added: “All you need to do is join us for a day with the UK’s biggest and best DJs, all performing for free to show their love and support for our party and our policies.”
Writing on Instagram, the Green Space team say Bristol is “where the people know how to party, the party knows its people and the music scene is world-class”.
