Feeling Christmassy yet? Yep, barely have we got Halloween out of the way than the film industry begins its festive onslaught, beginning with Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms in 2D and 3D. If that doesn’t appeal, Mike Leigh’s epic Peterloo pitches up this week too. There are also previews of Steve McQueen’s eagerly anticipated Widows from Tuesday and Nazisploitation horror Overlord on Wednesday and Thursday.
Bristol Film Festival stages a takeover of the city museum on Friday and also has a boozy screening of Shaun of the Dead at The Station. Meanwhile, the Afrika Eye fest has a couple of events to get you in the mood for the main festival weekend on Nov 9-11.
