Bristol hardware developer marks 25 years with record trading
A Bristol-based computer hardware developer has entered its 25th year with the strongest quarter trading in its history.
Exacta Group has marked a record revenue exceeding £8.5m for Q1 in 2026 – a growth of more than 60 per cent compared to the same period last year.
According to the group, the steady year-on-year growth was driven by rising global demand for its high-performance server infrastructure and bespoke hardware.
The Bristol-based group also recorded its highest-ever order intake, leaving it well positioned for further growth, with expectations of another record performance by the end of the first half of the year.

Chief executive David Osmond said the results reflect strong market demand and operational performance.
He said: “This has been an exceptional start to the year and our best quarter to date. Delivering more than 60 per cent growth year‑on‑year in Q1 reflects both the strength of demand in the market and the incredible work of our team across the Group.
“Just as importantly, we’re exiting the quarter with a record order book, which gives us real confidence in the months ahead. Momentum is strong, execution is strong, and we’re well positioned for continued growth through Q2 and beyond.”

The tech firm has come a long way since its humble beginnings from a self-storage unit in Bristol back in 2001, before moving to a spacious hub in Chew Valley where the company enjoyed a steady growth, weathering the changes of the sector worldwide.
The company, founded by Nick Rogers, moved to its current location in Emersons Green in 2020, which was dubbed “Exacta 2.0”. Exacta Group is the parent company of the leading tech brands Exacta Technologies and Blackcore® Technologies.

The company entered its 25th year on the back of double honours at the Tech South West Awards 2025, which included the Tech Company of the Year.
Rogers, a life-long Bristol City fan, secured a multi-year deal at Ashton Gate to become the sleeve sponsor of the Robins from the 2025/26 season.
