Gruff Rhys
Gruff Rhys will be performing tracks from his fifth album, ‘Babelsberg’. The singer had glimpsed this city’s name four years ago and an idea had since been stuck in his head. Babelsberg lies an hour away from Berlin and it’s the place where Stalin, Truman and Churchill met for the Allied Forces’ Potsdam Conference that marked the end of the Second World War. Gruff has worked in all kind of projects, including producing, filmmaking and writing a book. His new album addresses our troubled world with humour, elegance and a hypnotic melody.
