Salon Brixton tasting menu
The first night of a new series of guest chef events at Root will see the team from Salon Brixton collaborate with the Cargo 1 restaurant for a six-course tasting menu.
Salon started life as a pop up above a cheese shop in Brixton’s Market Row. Their food is guided by the seasons, and their menu changes from week to week, depending on what produce is available.
Salon have previously collaborated with Elly Curshen, owner of The Pear Cafe in St Paul’s, for Salon x Elly Pear in both Brixton and Bristol.
Root were named Bristol24/7’s new restaurant of the year 2017. Co-owned by Josh Eggleton of the Michelin-starred Pony & Trap, the menu from acclaimed head chef Rob Howell is 100 per cent vegetarian.
