Hunky drifter and ne’er-do-well Gino encounters husband and wife Giuseppe and Giovanna at a roadside diner. He and Giovanna quickly get the hots for one another and plot to murder Giuseppe. Could it be that this is not going to end well?

The Young Pope himself (Jude Law, for it is he) stars in A View from the Bridge and Hedda Gabler director Ivo van Hove‘s stage adaptation of Luchino Visconti‘s 1942 feature debut, Ossessione. The production is broadcast live from the Barbican Theatre on May 11, with plenty of encore screenings certain to follow.
