“Given the relative success of The Bearpit event in May (its status pending – £180 raised for Bristol Housing Action Movement), The People’s Comedy: Turbo Edition is as usual open to all: punters, homeless, Stokes Croft hipsters and thus forth for a night of solidarity.

“Like the St James Barton Fair before its being banned in 1837, a waft of nonconformity will flow through the air.”
