Bristol put on masterclass to beat Quins at Twickenham
Ellis Genge sprinting 50 metres to score a try was the icing on the cake for an astonishing display of attacking rugby by Bristol Bears.
In their showpiece occasion at Twickenham, it took Harlequins almost an hour to put any points on the board against Bristol.
Bears beat Quins by 40 points to 14 at Big Game 17 with tries from Kalaveti Ravouvou, Joe Batley, Gabriel Oghre, Louis Rees-Zammit and Santiago Grondona before Genge – only back on the field as a temporary replacement – took the ball on half-way and rampaged to the line.

Following a live show from Groove Armada, it was a masterclass from the Bears men, avenging the women’s team who had fallen 38-12 in Saturday’s double-header in south west London.
