Three roads all closed simultaneously from same day

Bristol on the Move is the name for a new council-funded website to provide updates on construction projects across the city.

Currently, Bristol is most definitely not on the move due to the sheer number of cars on our roads.

Three different streets were all closed from Monday morning to add to motorists’ woes:

  • The lower part of Whiteladies Road in both directions
  • St Augustine’s Parade/College Green heading northbound
  • Broad Plain’s junction with Temple Way

The sections of Whiteladies Road and St Augustine’s Parade are both due to be closed until December 12; while the much quieter Broad Plain junction is only due to be closed until December 5.
