Souk Kitchen to open Clifton cafe

It will be a return to familiar territory for Ella and Darren Lovell when they open a second Souk Kitchen on Apsley Road in Clifton.

The couple ran the restaurant for several years when it was Rucola, which was originally opened by Ella’s father Ghullam Narimani.

Most recently The ApsleyThe Apsley, the latest incarnation of the business took longer to refurbish than it remained open.

The new Souk Kitchen will be a “cafe and supplies”, with an opening date yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, an outside wall of the original Souk Kitchen on North Street has been painted by Andrew Colwil.
