Mysterious Killing Eve billboards appear in Bristol

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Jun 5, 2019

Public displays of obsession between the two main characters in Killing Eve can now be seen in Bristol, as the second series of the show prepares to return to BBC One.

Billboards seemingly paid for by Villanelle and then scrawled on by Eve have appeared in the city as the psychopathic assassin and MI6 agent resume their game of cat and mouse.

Alongside the hashtag, #Crazy4Eve, Villanelle will also be bombarding BBC Radio 1 with song requests for Eve, with the two writing back and forth to one another on the billboards.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Fans can call Eve’s voicemail on 07788 387000 themselves, with Villanelle also due to have a Twitter meltdown in the marketing campaign made by the BBC’s in-house creative team BBC Creative.

Bristol-based costume designer Charlotte Mitchell was responsible for the clothes in Killing Eve series 2, revealing to Bristol24/7 her favourite places in the city to go shopping for a globe-trotting assassin.

The first episode of Killing Eve series 2 will be on BBC One on Saturday, June 8 at 9.15pm, with the whole series available on iPlayer afterwards.

Villanelle features on the front cover of the Bristol24/7 June 2019 magazine
