Murder investigation launched following death of Tony Clemmings
A murder investigation has been launched into the death of Tony Clemmings, whose body was found on a roof garden on Tuesday.
In a tribute, his family said: “His death has come as a huge shock to us and we ask for privacy as we try to come to terms with what has happened.”
Clemmings, 54, was discovered by a member of the public at a block of flats on Redcliff Street, Redcliffe shortly before 8.20am.

Avon & Somerset Police’s major crime investigation team carried out forensic and CCTV enquiries and neighbourhood officers have been conducting reassurance patrols.
Clemmings’ family said: “Tony was a lovely man to all those that truly knew him. He was a much-loved son, brother and uncle and he will be greatly missed.”
