In photos: Paddleboarders welcome summer solstice
Paddleboarders were up early on Sunday to welcome the summer solstice from the water as dawn broke on the longest day of the year.
A group of around eleven people on a SUP Bristol event took to the harbour around 4.30am, joined by Bristol24/7 photographer Rob Browne.
Warm light reflected along the water as the sun started to rise, turning the sky a peachy orange and burning the edges of clouds.
It was a perfect, clear day for it, the few clouds drawing traces of the sunrise across the sky.
As the dawn progressed, orange cooled to blue and the paddleboarders watched as the city woke into daylight.
The longest day of the year had arrived.
