The gardens of Clifton and Hotwells’ green-fingered residents were once again opened to the public over the weekend.

As part of the Clifton & Hotwells Open Gardens, visitors were invited into the private communal squares and gardens across the two areas along with refreshments, talks, live music and stalls.

Photographer Rob Browne spent an afternoon documenting some of the hidden green spaces on display:
